The Adam pattern of Depression Glass was made by the Jeannette Glass Company for only three years, from 1932 through 1934. Complete sets of Adam can be collected in pink and green and some pieces can be found in crystal (clear), yellow and Delphite blue. One problem with collecting Adam, besides availability, is the tendancy of pieces to have inner rim roughness due to the very sharply defined inner rim. There are some rarely found items in Adam such as an electric lamp in pink and green, the pink vase, candlesticks and the candy jar in both pink and green and the green butter dish. There is also a very rare pink butter dish lid which has the Adam pattern on outside and the Sierra pattern on the inside. The Deco era styling of this pattern from Jeannette makes it one of the more popular and desirable Depression Glass patterns being collected today. Be aware that there is a reproduction pink Adam butter dish to be on the lookout for. I DO NOT sell reproductions!
